Dr. Tina Abdalla Watson is a licensed clinical psychologist providing services in the Atlanta area. Dr. Watson received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston in Pre-med and Psychology. She obtained her Doctorate of Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology as a generalist, which means she works with diverse people of various ages, cultures, and sexual orientations, experiencing a range of issues.
Dr. Watson completed her postdoctoral training at Emory School of Medicine working with adults with severe mental illness within Grady Health Systems. Dr. Watson has an additional two years experience working at Emory School of Medicine providing individual and group psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, and crisis intervention services. Dr. Watson completed a year of internship training at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital, in Hartford Connecticut, working with young adults and adults within inpatient and outpatient setting suffering with more acute to more severe pathology. At the Institute of Living, she also provided individual therapy, group therapy, and psychological evaluations to professionals.
Dr. Watson has a wealth of experience working with a range of people from college and graduate students, to couples and families in crisis, to Veterans of our Armed Forces. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 42 of the American Psychological Association for Psychologists in Independent Practice, and Georgia Psychological Association.
