Philosophy of Care

Therapy is a very personal experience, and there is no template that works best for everyone. Dr. Watson carefully assesses her client’s needs and goals in order to provide treatment that best meets their unique needs. Many people come to therapy when they are feeling stressed and overwhelmed with problems, but the key to helping is to find out what’s causing those problems and what kind of resolution each individual client is hoping for. When listening to her client’s problems, she provides advice layered with warmth, optimism, and hope. No matter how bad a situation may seem, there is always a way forward. Finding the confidence and optimism to achieve it is half the battle.
